Semi-Automatic Wedge Bonder

Model 4500B operates under microprocessor control with user-programmed memory to stitch bond a succession of parallel multi-arch wires, requiring an operator only to position the critical bond target. Each increment of motion of tool and work in both Z and Y directions is executed by stepper motors under program control so that the resulting wire connections have identical shapes. This is ideal for bonding high power, high frequency devices where it is necessary to hold the mutual inductance of parallel wires constant.

In addition to this West-Bond 4500B, Capovani Brothers Inc stocks a wide range of used and refurbished manual wedge bonders. Typical manufacturers include F&K Delvotec, Hybond, Kulicke & Soffa, Mech-El, Orthodyne, and West-Bond. To view our complete stock of used manual wedge bonders visit our Manual Wedge Bonders category.

This used manual wedge bonder and all the other used and refurbished semiconductor, scientific, and laboratory equipment listed on this website are owned by Capovani Brothers Inc. and stored at our facility in Scotia, NY.
