LAP METIS laser sensor is used to measure diameters, widths or positions on an axis of one or more static or dynamic measured objects. The laser sensor is permanently installed in a measurement frame. The measurement frame can be designed as a static or dynamic device.
All versions of the METIS series consist of a transmitter and a receiver each. The measuring field lies between the transmitter and the receiver.
The laser sensor measures without making contact and works according to the shadowing principle.
By using the laser sensor, you can for example monitor the manufacture of products completely and document the quality of the product for the customer with production logs.
The laser sensor can be used in the industrial sector as well as for individual part tests in the laboratory and for online production monitoring.
