Used lab and industrial ovens sold by Capovani Brothers are tested at our Scotia, New York facility before shipment. Most inventory sold as working and warranted is tested to the procedures on these pages. Contact our sales team for details.
What We Check
Our Lab & Industrial Oven Testing Process
- Cleaned and inspected
- Fan motor bearings inspected and replaced as needed
- Heating elements tested and replaced as needed
- Controller and associated electrical controls inspected and tested (controller upgrades available)
- Door hinges, latch, and gasket inspected
- Water and gas solenoids tested and replaced as needed (where applicable)
- Vacuum ovens leak tested
- All used ovens run at maximum temperature for several hours
Important note on input voltage: Manufacturers rate oven performance at a given voltage. If operated at a lower voltage, the oven may not perform as specified. For example, an oven rated for 400°C at 240 VAC may not reach that temperature at 208 VAC, or may take longer than specified.
