What We Check
Our Vacuum Valve Testing Process
- Set up and made operational to assess general condition and identify problematic areas
- Sealing surfaces inspected for wear and deformation; surfaces refinished to remove small scratches where necessary
- Internal mechanical system verified for proper operation and repaired as necessary
- Internal seals verified and replaced as necessary
- All vacuum valves shipped clean
- Valves exposed to PVD process (with thin film coatings) disassembled; all foreign materials removed; valve body and internal components cleaned with IPA
- Reassembled, fully tested for operation, and helium leak checked
