This power supply has option -1401: “Fast discharge option”. Output electrolytic filtering capacitor is replaced with polyester one with much smaller value to achieve fast discharge. As a result, output voltage is less filtered, ripple P-2-P voltage @ full power is 5.7 V. Standard power supply without -1401 option specification: ripple P-2-P voltage 0.15 V.
